Chef Kenneth Wade, owner and executive chef of Paddy Mac's Restaurant in Palm Beach Gardens , brings Irish cuisine to Florida . He and his exuberant team have played an essential role in making Paddy Mac's the highly reputable restaurant it is today.

It was not simply the genuine “luck of the Irish” that made Chef Wade a European Master Chef. He began his career as a chef in Dublin, Ireland, working his way up the culinary ladder at some of Europe 's premier restaurants. After a stint in the Bahamas, Wade returned to Ireland where, as Executive Chef, he opened Ashford Castle , one of the finest restaurants in Ireland . It is regularly featured on “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous.” Nine years later, in 1982, Wade was persuaded to immigrate to the United States to take over Harpoon Louie's Restaurant in Jupiter, Florida.

A graduate of St. Vincent's College in Dublin , Chef Wade holds a life membership in the Honorable Order of the Golden Toque and is a winner of several “Chef of the Year” awards. A former chapter president of the American Culinary Federation, Chef Wade remains active and was named Culinarian of the year and Southeast Regional Professional Chef of the Year for the Palm Beach chapter. He is a member of the American Academy of Chefs.
